  1. First of all I want to say that I really enjoyed your post.
    In my opinion betting is both, art and science. You can't ignore stats and math while you're picking your bet, but on the other hand statistics is not everything. Personally I often have some "sixth sense" and then I pick certain team. You know, situations when you wanna bet on one team although you now everything is against you ;) My point is, you should always take into account stats, but you also need to follow your sense. That's why you should always bet just sports that you closely follow.
    For the end I want to say it is possible to beat bookies, but most of the people loose because of greed. It's psychology ;)
